I just had one of my odd bouts of inspiration, driven by the DC Elseworlds epic called Kingdom Come. Being a diehard former Marvelite, the fact that this trade paperback is now my single favorite comic ever attests to how good it really is. Go buy a copy. Even if you don't like comics. It's that good.
Anyway, though, onto the inspiration part of it.
I was looking at the art, and Wonder Woman's costuming and outstanding beauty and will made me wonder (no pun intended) what the BLoSC universe would be like if Mira was their answer to Wonder Woman. I mean, not openly, but like Diana, covertly... secret identity, etc, and not even her team knowing that she is indeed working as something of a superheroine.
I drew up a concept shot of her in a similiar costume (naturally adapted to the BLoSC universe, given that they don't have the stars and stripes), and I'll get on coloring it and that. I was also thinking of drawing up a page or two and coloring it, though I doubt I could do it as well as Kingdom Come was done.
So, anyone have any thoughts on this idea?

Hmm that is an interesting concept. Would be interesting to see what that would be like. It would be a change of pace from the usual.

I agree that it sounds like a really interesting concept! Would definately be a nice change of pace from the norm. ^_^ I'd be very interested in seeing that concept pic of Mira and the comic, once it's done. And, well, who really cares if it's not as good as the pros'? I think it would take alot of talent to mimic something as good as that and not take two full decades to do it. lol. The comics I draw take long enough and they look almost nothing like what the pros do. Lol. So, you're not alone.
