I actually am trying to put together a for real website instead of message boards. Mostly to showcase my art instead of deviantart.com. I haven't the slightest clue as to what HTML is but I'm winging it with help: buzzlightyear03.iwarp.com/index.htmlNothing but text so far. Still learning how to put thumbnails with pics on there and other stuff. It'll be better looking in time as I learn stuff. But I'm just proud I even got this far and decided to be a show off lol. And if anyone wanks me to link to them no problem at all. Well as soon as I learn banners and linkage that is. I'm ehh working on it.

thumb nails....hmmm....depending on what program you're using, or if you're just using note pad.
front page can create photo galleries, but you'll need a special host that uploads frontpage, or something like that.
its better if you just use a smaller pic of what you want to link to. ( i say that because some people use the actual picture as thumb nail, with the size set to smaller, which makes it take a long time to load, what if you're thumnailing a wallpaper....o.o)
if you have office, go with front page. if you want you can download dreamweaver from internet its just 50 megs or something. but it takes some time to learn dw. while frontpage is an html word.
i use both =P, things are working for me like that. somethin i wanna know, how do you make the left frame merge with the right frame? when i used frames, ven though i set the border to 0 you still could see it there.

I got the thumbnails working. It was just a matter of learning the tag codes for links and pics. So it looks a little better now. Still will be weeks before it's even half way decent. somethin i wanna know, how do you make the left frame merge with the right frame? when i used frames, ven though i set the border to 0 you still could see it there. Actually I have no idea :S. The site and frames were all a free web templete I got from a site. I figured getting a templete from somewhere wasa better idea for my first site lol, no need to comfuse someone who is already confused .

it already looks good, just a little empty, but we know you're working on it Yeah I'm still working on it, don't know how long it will take me with finals and my job. But ehh it's coming along. I still need to add a sketches section, fan art and blah blah blah. Also some graphics around the page so it's not just text. And make banners for linking. Hmm didn't know you could use photoshop to slice the stuff, hmm interesting. Looks good, nice new menu, it fits in with the rest of the site and really makes it look a lot more high tech.
