And these are just strictly my views, but after studying her character for as long as I have, I've gotten to know her pretty well.
1. Mira is a Ranger with a Queen underneath. She is beautiful, she has a certain elegance and grace to her. She provides some much needed feminity to BLoSC. Her slender build is almost that of a ballerina or dancer and provides a wonderful contrast to her more beefy masculine teammates.
2. I don't believe she will remain a Ranger forever. She knows that. She knows deep in her heart that being a Ranger is just a stop on the path of her life and that her future lies tied to the throne of Tangea. But I think she will embrace the role of Queen. She will be the one to implement the changes that her planet needs in relation to interaction with other worlds. The Rangers taught her about herself and what kind of person she is and what she can handle and where her limitations are. They taught her diplomacy, strategy, and responsibility. All things that a good Queen needs to have.
3. I was watching the ep with the out of control plants on the station "Little Secrets" and I noticed that her arguments with Buzz mirror her arguments with her father. She wants recognition, she wants responsibility, she wants those who are above her in position to take note of her talents. She wants those who are above her in position to not stifle her and restrict her.
Eh, maybe I'll continue. I've got to get back to work.

i always had the idea she was gonna be president as zurg predicted it. I never saw that. I think that should have clued Buzz in right there that Zurg's world was phony. Mira would not neglect her duties to Tangea, she is far too committed to those ideals to let that happen.

i don't understand what you mean, what is phoney?. Anyways i like the idea of her as president, and as the series ended. I don't think we can be certain of what would or wouldn't happen, its all up to our imagination.

I agree with M.E. on this one. I doubt that Mira would give up her royal duties to become president. It really shows her devotion to her planet and her people in the episode "Mira's Wedding"; she was willing to marry against her will for her kingdom.
Oh, and phoney means fake.

That Zurg's world was fake, it was a set up, etc. In order for Mira to be president, she would have to neglect her duties to Tangea. I don't see that ever happening. She would ascend the throne and work closely with whoever the president is at the time. And imagination is great. But knowing the character is great too.

i know the zurg world was fake ¬¬, it was a set. I said I liked the idea not that it was true on that episode, maybe it wouldn't have been like that maybe it would... unless they re take the series its all up to us.

I never saw that. I think that should have clued Buzz in right there that Zurg's world was phony. Mira would not neglect her duties to Tangea, she is far too committed to those ideals to let that happen. I agree with you there. I simply can't imagine Mira becoming President of the Galactic Alliance. And, though RedRage is right in saying up to us to decide what happens from the end of the series onward. I think it's also important to keep in mind each character's personality - what would a particular character do, if faced with such a decision? If you totally threw off the character's personality and etc., then frankly, I think it wouldn't be respectful to the character's creators. So, personally, I'd agree with SuperNova and M.E. in saying that I think Mira would remain Queen of Tangea, once the time comes. She's far too loyal to her people, heritage, and etc. just to leave it all. And, well, who would become Queen, if she left? I don't think that Mira has any siblings to take her place. Nothing in the series has led me to believe that she does. And besides, there's still that "first born" rule mentioned in "Mira's Wedding". Even if she did have any siblings, she'd be first in line to the throne. And I believe Mira would do a better job as Queen than anyone else could. So, in my opinion, I think she'd be much more at home taking the Tangean throne than becoming President.

I think that should have clued Buzz in right there that Zurg's world was phony. That and the fact that a robot just grew facial hair lol. But that's a whole other story........ Yeah anyways on to something that is in relations with what the topic is ^_^. I'll say it again, I fully agree. She wouldn't just abandone her Queenly duties, especially with no siblings that were ever mentioned. That would be too out of character. I don't think I can add on to the list of reasons already stated on why that would be just wrong so I'll leave it at that. And I agree, I don't see Mira as being president of the Galactic Alliance. She wouldn't leave Tangea to run the whole alliance, she would through work closely with the president of the Galactic Alliance in hopes to make Tangea a better place and less arogant because she, unlike most of her people, have seen beyond the royal palace and has worked closely with other life forms. As was stated earlier the Rangers were a good experience for her future as Queen and she will learn a lot from them that will give her a great fondation as Queen. And yes Imagination and creativity is great, but you still need to look beyond the surface of a character, to look inside them and understand their motivations and ambitions. Why do they do a certain thing? Why do they say the things they say? What makes them tick? You need to portray them as they want to be portrayed not simply however you want. Because just doing whatever you want to a character isn't fair to them. You need to look beyond the surface, only then will you become a true fan. I mean I can understand a little OOCness here and there when it's meant to help not hinder the character. Like when you're drawing a comedy scene and you give Buzz orange arm floatys for no reason, for the sake of comedy. Little things like that. But going blown out and doing what you want all the time is absurd, always remember, they aren't yours to control like a puppet. I could have done a better job explaining my reasons and done a little less restateing previous people, but I just woke up from a long nap and I need to get to work in ohhh about 5 minuets.

but you still need to look beyond the surface of a character well unlike the three of you i don't "look beyond" mira's surface, she is my least favorite character, not that i don't like her, i just like the rest a lot better. Besides maybe tangea blew up and she couldn't become the queen so she became a president...maybe not too dramatic i guess XD. But tanga does get a lot of terrorist attacks, everytime they want to destroy a planet, they go like "umm, how about tangea?" XD.........plese don't kill me off the "tangea blew up" thing! O.O i'm just saying!

Seems kind of silly to me.

because i *thought* this was a friendly debate, whre anybody could state a free opinion. And also: not that i don't like her, i just like the rest a lot better. i never said i didn't like her, in fact i said that it wasn't that i didn't like her ¬_¬. i'll stay away from this topic then, so don't write too much about this post. You make it sound like my opinion is wrong anyway (when as ar as i know there is no such thing as wrong opinion).

You make it sound like my opinion is wrong anyway (when as ar as i know there is no such thing as wrong opinion). Joy and myself and others merely pointed out that if you are going to form opinions about characters and what they would and wouldn't do, then you need to understand the character something which was clearly stated you had no interest in doing because Mira is your least favorite. An opinion based on one episode is fine, but do not be surprised if you are given information of how such an opinion does not fit with the character or the most likely progession of her future (especially when such an opinion is formed based on an episode that dealt with an fake scenerio set up by Zurg). And it is a debate, which is why others are calling your opinion into question.

I agree, I can't see Mira as President. Even if she wanted to be President instead of Queen, she doesn't have a choice, does she?
Basically, I agree with MiraElizabeth, she seems to know what she's talking about.. not like me. :3
