Oh boy, alot had been posted since I last dropped in. Lol. I'm not gonna comment on all of it (lol, that'd take forever), but I will say this. . . Plus if it wasn't for Buzz he would have died back on Planet X, he was just repaying a debt, but after that they would meet as enemys. That is a very good point there. Warp did owe Buzz his life, so there would be a debt to be paid. Otherwise, I would doubt that Warp would risk his life to save Buzz's in such a manner. He's a villian, but he has priorities. Not to mention, like you said, it is true that he can't appear to be more evil than Zurg. Lol. That would majorly throw things off for the younger audience.

I'm not gonna comment on all of it (lol, that'd take forever), Lol yeah I don't think this place has been quite that busy in a LONG time That is a very good point there. Warp did owe Buzz his life, so there would be a debt to be paid. Otherwise, I would doubt that Warp would risk his life to save Buzz's in such a manner. He's a villian, but he has priorities. Yeah I mean if Warp hadn't repaid that debt he owed to Buzz then it would have done no justice to Warp's reputation and character. People need that sense of closure to feel good about the ending and have things all tied up. Not to mention, like you said, it is true that he can't appear to be more evil than Zurg. Lol. That would majorly throw things off for the younger audience. Yup. Things need to be kept simple , because that target audience can't absorb the complexities of a major plot and high emotions like adults and teens can. I'm pretty sure turning the whole show into a soap oprea would have done nothing for it.

I'm pretty sure turning the whole show into a soap oprea would have done nothing for it. I think that it's more difficult for younger audience to understand how a bad guy has a good side or he's fun. Disney don't use that formula in a lot of its productions he usually use very evil villians like Scar, Ursula, Yafar, etc, because children understand better a clear difference between Good and Evil, they have a lot of problems to understand how a bad guy can do good things. Warp is a kind of character who is more easier to understand by an older audience (As we are). like an anecdote, when I saw LotR one child had a lot of problems with Gollum because he didn't understand if he was good or bad.
